Whether you are adding to your collection or shopping for a new long-range rifle, the video covers the essentials.
What to weigh in a long-range rifle
- Accuracy and consistency: look for tight, repeatable groups with quality ammo, not just one good group.
- Cartridge: 7 PRC is a modern long-range round, so check ammo availability and cost. Browse ammo at Natchez and True Shot Ammo.
- Handling: weight, balance and stock fit decide how steady the rifle feels in the field.
- Optics: a long-range rifle needs a long-range scope. Compare options at OpticsPlanet.
- Total cost: include the scope, mounts and ammo when you compare prices.
