Fierce CT Rage LR in 7mm PRC from a tripod

This is a test of the Fierce CT Rage LR in 7mm PRC with a Telson Optics ARC scope, shot from a tripod. The 7mm PRC is a modern long-range hunting cartridge, and a tripod makes a stable rest in open country where there is nothing else to shoot from.

Why shoot from a tripod?

• Stability: a tripod gives a steadier platform than offhand shooting.
• Adjustable height: it works for sitting, kneeling or standing in open terrain.
• Practice matters: train with the exact rest you will use in the field.

Gear

Find 7mm PRC and other hunting ammo at Natchez, choose hunting bullets from Barnes Bullets, and compare binoculars and rangefinders at OpticsPlanet. For range days, use ShellShock hearing protection.
